About Andrea
Hello! I’m going to listen, to genuinely listen, to you. You drive the session. I’m there to provide a safe, welcoming, and completely non-judgmental space for you. I’m there to support you, guide you, and challenge you when necessary so that you can become the best possible version of yourself.
I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I also believe life experience can be our greatest teacher. I have struggled with chronic illnesses and an eating disorder for most of my life. I understand how hard it is to try to function with a condition invisible to others that affects my life every day. I want to be a guide, to hold space, and to help you navigate stretches in your life when and where you might be struggling to find a better way.
I specialize in helping those with eating disorders and those with long-term, chronic, and/or “invisible” conditions. I also specialize in helping women and women’s issues including but not limited to pregnancy, post-partum issues, and menopause. Additionally, I love working with teens, young adults, and the LGBTQIA+ community. I’m a person-centered counselor. We explore what you need to explore, and my job is to listen and hold space and help you discover your truth.
